How can I get in touch with you?
The best way to get in touch for a free consultation is to book online through the Jane app. For general inquiries, please visit my Contact page to reach out by phone or email.
Do you diagnose?
No, only psychiatrists or psychologists can diagnose a mental health condition or disorder. If this is something that you are requesting, I would direct you to speak with your Doctor.
Are you covered by insurance or benefits?
It depends. Please check your insurance or benefits first to see if they cover a "registered social worker" who provides psychotherapy services. I hold a Master of Social Work from the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers of Ontario.
What is the cost of counselling and psychotherapy services?
My rates are $150/60-minute session or $225/90-minute session. If you do not have coverage and you are a student or older adult, please ask me about options during our free consultation.
Can I secure times for my sessions in advance?
Yes! This is the best way to ensure you get times that work for you. I recommend you set up recurring sessions in Jane, as popular times and evenings book up quickly.
What are your hours of operation?
My hours are generally flexible to accommodate most people’s schedules! They include evenings and weekends. You can find my hours on my Contact page, and see my availability in real-time on my booking schedule in the Jane app.
I don’t see a time available in Jane, can I get added to a waitlist?
Yes! If you don't see a time, you can add yourself to the waitlist as things can change and a spot may open up! You can register for the waitlist through the Jane app.
How do I pay for counselling and psychotherapy services?
I can accept Visa or Mastercard, which you can set up in the secure booking system through the Jane app before your first session.
Do you offer direct billing to insurance companies?
No, I do not offer direct billing; however, I will provide you with an invoice after each session for you to submit to your insurance company.
What is your cancellation policy?
I request a 24-hour cancellation notice or a late fee of 50% will be applied to your credit card through Jane.
